Timmerije uses an extensive range of "engineering plastics" (PP, PA, ABS, POM, PBT, PC,PS, HIPS, PSU, PPO, TPR, SEBS,TPU) of which some can provide extremely advanced properties.
Thermoplastic rubbers
Thermoplastic rubbers are the "soft" component of 2-K injection moulds, but can also be used for the flexible, movable parts of a product or component.
Metallic and special effects
Nowadays, a modern collection of metallic raw materials is also available. These raw materials provide a sophisticated and beautiful look.
Biodegradable polymers
There are fields of application where biodegradable polymers are the basic material. Timmerije has already acquired considerable experience with this kind of relatively new material.
Glass-fibre-filled synthetics
A good option if the product is subjected to very high mechanical loads.
Temperature-resistant synthetics
Various synthetics (such as PPS and e.g. special polyamide) can tolerate very high temperatures without deformation or other undesirable effects, such as hydrolysis.
Chemically-resistant synthetics
Here there is great variety. The selection of the correct material (that is resistant to the intended environment) demands intensive cooperation with raw material suppliers.
