Using the latest, laser-controlled techniques, Timmerije can realise prototypes very quickly without already possessing a mould. Incidentally, physical, three-dimensional assessment is often necessary. For example, to check the fit with any other parts of your product, or to assess the physical relationships and the like, or for other test purposes.
For prototyping, Timmerije has an extensive range of possibilities, varying from a simple mockup to a fully-functioning product. An approach of "parallel actions" is usually chosen, where the various prototyping possibilities are applied overlapping. This gives you optimum transparency, but also retains speed within the process of prototyping.
Visual prototypes
Using rapid prototyping techniques, such as laser lithography, laser sintering or purely hand-made techniques, Timmerije can provide you with visual prototypes. They are primarily intended to assess fit, form and appearance.
Functional prototypes
To implement further tests relating to the working and loadability, Timmerije can also make a functional prototype. Although not necessarily made from the material that will ultimately be used and/or cast in other materials and colours. If your product is subjected to high mechanical or thermal load, Timmerije can also perform strength analysis in cooperation with professional partners.
Mouldflow
Using Mouldflow simulation, parts of the production process can be made manageable before actual production is started. A cost-saving method, aimed at prior checks and the promotion of perfect production.
Pre-series / test moulds
Using special, low-cost tools, Timmerije can realize a small pre-series. This gives you fully-functional products made from the materials chosen. The importance of this method is to minimise the risks during the production mould approach. For example, such risks include risks in the field of mould constructions, assembly, packing and logistics.
Production moulds
Timmerije has a very extensive international network of mould makers, so that the right producer can always be found at the required price/quality relationship.
